Awareness Programs, Workshops, Seminars & Cultural Activities

At regular intervals AWMH organizes Training Programs, Seminars & Workshops for the EIRP Staff and Special Educators on various issues related to disabilities, their detection & remedial measures in order to update the knowledge & techniques and to keep them abreast of the latest developments & techniques. Training Programs, Seminars & Workshops for the Parents & Siblings of the Mentally Challenged addressing Behavior Problems, Sexuality, Marriage, Social Security, Legal Guardianship, Legislations for the Disabled, etc.

Awareness Programs are also organized independently or in association with other organizations for Parents, Professionals, Lawyers & Judges, Law Enforcing Authority and Public at large on Issues of Disability, Civil Rights of the Disabled, Civic Obligations, Disability & Law, Parent's Movement, etc. Cultural Activities and Competitions in singing, dancing, music, cooking and sports for the Mentally Challenged are organized. In-house Training is provided by inviting experts in various relevant and related disciplines regularly.
